Rascal Flatts Weigh In On The Super Bowl
The members of Rascal Flatts are among the many Americans who'll be keeping an eye on the Super Bowl this weekend. The big game will feature the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints. The trio's Jay DeMarcus and Gary LeVox know who they want to win, and have several reasons to support their choice. LeVox and DeMarcus add that their band mate Joe Don Rooney is going to the game, and taking the group's fiddle player with him. That's just one kind thing Rascal Flatts is doing this week for those who've supported the group over the years. As the group celebrates their 10th anniversary this year, the trio hosted an event at Nashville's Musicians Hall of Fame Wednesday night to honor the songwriters who've contributed to their musical catalog. The party included performances of Rascal Flatts' eleven chart-topping hits, sung by the writers who penned them. Super Bowl 44 will take place Sunday in Miami. Carrie Underwood will be on hand to sing the national anthem at the start of the game. CBS is carrying the event, with coverage starting at noon Eastern Time. Kick-off is scheduled for 6:25 p.m. Eastern.
