Kid Rock Testifies In Court Over Alleged Autograph Scuffle
Kid Rock is dealing with another scuffle, this one dating back to 2006. E! Online says the musician was in court Friday to answer to charges that he attacked three autograph seekers outside Los Angeles' Roosevelt Hotel. Michael Medlin, Jose Perez, and Carlos Bonilla brought a lawsuit against Rock over an incident in which he and members of The Boo-Yaa Tribe allegedly attacked them. Rock denied the attack and stated that he was defending himself in a "chaotic" scene. He also testified that claims he provoked and challenged them by asking "Who wants a piece of me next?" were ridiculous, insisting, quote, "I wouldn't say something corny like that." Rock added, quote, "It was kind of chaotic. There were cameras everywhere and people yelling." The men are seeking 15-million dollars in damages. |
