Courtney Love Expresses Her Love For Billy Corgan
Courtney Love is attempting to make nice with Billy Corgan after recent troubles in their friendship. Corgan worked with Love on some songs a few years back, but his contributions were later scrapped in favor of what is becoming the new "Nobody's Daughter" album from Hole. Billy told "Rolling Stone" in a recent interview that Love couldn't use the material, because he didn't authorize it. He explained, quote, "I have no interest in supporting her in any way, shape or form. You can't throw enough things down the abyss with a person like that."
But Love has attempted to reach out to Corgan with a positive response. The singer said via her Facebook page that she loves his quote, "strong and eternal heart," and his messed up "gnarly amazing magnificent bigger-than-god, louder-than-love karma of the songs you write and allow me to fly with." She added, quote, "We have again created beauty from the agony between us, all the buried and unburied anguish, all that is true, that is gold, that is meant to be is within this endless and somehow eternal cycle of Billy & Courtney." Love also apologized for offending Corgan, called him, quote, "a king, a prince, and my beautiful noble boy," before stating that the truth was that they were, quote, "eternal lovers, eternal fighters, eternal warriors." Hole's "Nobody's Daughter" is slated for release on April 27th. |
