New Stones' DVDs On The Way
Fans of the Rolling Stones can expect two new DVD titles later this year. Eagle Rock Entertainment will distribute "Stones In Exile," a documentary about the making of the band's classic album "Exile On Main Street." The title will be available in June 2010 following the BBC's initial airing of the rock doc and Universal's reissue of the "Exile" LP. Also in the pipeline is "Ladies And Gentlemen...The Rolling Stones." A fully-restored version of this 1972 concert film will hit theaters before it gets its first ever run on DVD. "Ladies And Gentlemen" is also heading to Blu-Ray Disc this fall.
In related news, NBC's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" will host a week of musical guest performing tracks from the Stones' "Exile" this May. "Exile On Main Street," the reissue, is due on May 18th. The reissue will feature previously-unreleased material from the Stones' vaults. |
