Beck's The "BOB-OMB" On "Scott Pilgrim" Soundtrack
Beck's association with the film "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" is expanding. While it's known that he penned songs for the fictitious Michael Cera-led band Sex BOB-OMB as part of the movie, he also recorded original versions of the songs himself. The deluxe edition version of the soundtrack on iTunes will feature three bonus tracks with the Beck vocals, as well as the film versions without him. The tracks are "Garbage Truck," "Threshold," and "Summertime." Fans can hear the Beck version of "Summertime" at www.soundcloud.com/weallwantsomeone/beck-summertime. The "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" soundtrack arrives August 10th, with the movie hitting theaters three days later. |
