Brandon Boyd Finds His Boundaries On His "Wild Trapeze"
Brandon Boyd says making a solo album became a great learning experience. The Incubus frontman says he discovered more about himself as an artist while working on his recently released independent debut, "The Wild Trapeze," and he believes the insights he's gained will benefit his band as well.
"The Wild Trapeze" truly is a solo effort, as Boyd and producer Dave Fridmann handled most of the instrumentation themselves. Boyd notes that through the recording process he came to understand his talent level and found where his strengths lie as a musician. While the singer is promoting "The Wild Trapeze," he's also prepping for new work with Incubus. The band will soon begin work on their next album. |
