Civil Twilight Stay Motivated By The Music
Civil Twilight is one of the year's breakout bands, which is quite an accomplishment given the band hails from Cape Town, South Africa. Drummer Richard Wouters notes that when the group began they had no aspirations for fame or commercial success, and were driven simply because they loved what they were doing.
Wouters adds, quote, "It was cool, and it felt very innocent," but he admits they ultimately decided to come to America so they could be part of a bigger music community. However, the rocker notes he and his band mates try to remain true to their origins, and stay motivated to continue Civil Twilight just for the music. |
