Faith Hill Offering New Fragrance; Working On New Album
Faith Hill has a couple of new projects in the works. She's developing a new album, and she also has a new fragrance on the way. The singer tells California's "Stockton Record" her new perfume, Faith Hill True by Coty, has been well received so far. She says she enjoyed developing the scent, noting, quote, "It's been a fun process, learning about the art of creating a fragrance." Faith Hill True will be on store shelves in a few weeks. Hill adds that she's making progress on her next album. The country star reveals that she's been crafting songs for the disc, and she's glad to be focusing more on music. She notes she's been teaming with "some amazing writers" and she's "really enjoying it," admitting, quote, "I haven't written in a very long time." It's also been a while since Hill has released a new album. She had two new songs on her 2007 best-of collection, "The Hits," and she issued the holiday album, "Joy to the World" in 2008. However, her upcoming effort will be her follow up to 2005's "Fireflies."
Hill is hitting the stage tonight. She's performing at the Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys, California. Whiskey Dawn is also on the bill. |
