Wynonna Judd "OK" Following "Dramatic" Car Crash In Utah
Wynonna Judd says she's lucky to be alive following a head-on collision last week in Utah. The "Lake Tahoe Action" reports that the singer as well as her daughter and tour manager were in Salt Lake City Wednesday on their way to a sushi restaurant when the accident occurred, sending them to a local hospital. Wy calls it "a miracle" that she survived the accident, but isn't ready to divulge any specifics about what happened, saying, quote, "I can't go into that. What I can tell you it was pretty dramatic but I'm OK." She adds, quote, "I know everybody wants to know details. I'm sure I'll talk about it on a talk show somewhere down the road." The country star also admits she insisted on leaving the hospital against the advice of others, noting, quote, "I said, 'Listen, I've spent ten years on a bus with my mother. If I can do that I can do anything.'" Judd's daughter and tour manager were also released.
On Thursday Wynonna performed at the Jackson County Fair in Central Point, Oregon. Her next show is coming up in Redding, California on Friday. |
