James Otto Collaborates With Ronnie Milsap On Upcoming Album
James Otto says it was a thrill to team up with one of his heroes on his new album. He notes he's a longtime fan of Ronnie Milsap's, and the veteran country star makes a guest appearance on the song "Good Thing Gone Bad." Otto tells TheBoot.com, quote, "That was one of my favorite parts of making this record -- being able to collaborate with one of my favorite artists of all time, a guy I consider the godfather of country soul. He's the guy I point to most often when I bring up my style of music, because he is the guy who bridged the gap between those types of music." "Good Thing Gone Bad" is among the tracks slated for Otto's upcoming self-titled disc. The CD, which also includes Otto's current single, "Groovy Little Summer Song," is expected to be released in September. |
