Korn Bassist Still Finding Time For Stillwell
Korn is busy promoting its new album, "Korn III - Remember Who You Are," on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, but bassist Fieldy hopes to find time to support his side project, Stillwell. He tells "Icon Vs. Icon," quote, "I just finished mixing the last song for Stillwell. I play guitar in this project. That has been a lot of fun for me because I started out as a guitar player." Fieldy says the album is titled "Surrounded By Liars," and he's currently fielding offers about releasing the effort. There may not be a huge rush to get things off the ground though, as Korn will take up most of his upcoming time. The bassist says, quote, "We will probably do something in February because Korn is pretty booked up right now...We will probably take a little time in November and December to chill out because we have been touring non-stop." Fieldy adds, quote, "My plan would be to have Stillwell open up for Korn."
Korn is a headliner on the Mayhem Festival along with Rob Zombie, while Lamb Of God, Five Finger Death Punch, Atreyu, and Hatebreed are some of the other featured acts. The tour will be in Boston Tuesday. |
