More Details Emerge On Britney Spears "Glee" Episode
New details about the upcoming Britney Spears episode of "Glee" appear to be mirroring sentiments expressed by the show's Emmy nominated star, Matthew Morrison. At the White House Correspondent's Dinner in May, Morrison said he hoped his show wouldn't go the Spears route. Now, UsMagazine.com is reporting that his character, Will Schuester, will "refuse" to perform the pop singer's tracks in the episode dedicated to Spears. "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy still won't confirm whether Spears herself will appear on the Fox sitcom. He says, quote, "I can't say. Isn't that terrible? That will launch a thousand stories!"
Spears' ex, pop star Justin Timberlake has been rumored to be getting a spot on "Glee." But Murphy says that's not true. However, he does add that the singer is welcome on the show "down the line." He says, quote, "I think he would be the younger brother of Matt Morrison without question. He looks like Matt." |
