Gorillaz Launching World Tour In Montreal
Animated band Gorillaz will begin and end the North American portion of their their world tour this in Canada. The "Escape To Plastic Beach" tour will kick off at Montreal's Bell Centre on October 3rd and run through November 3rd at Vancouver's Rogers Arena. Gorillaz, led by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, played in April of this year at the Coachella Festival in Southern California. Since then, the group has taken the stage at other world-class festivals like the UK's Glastonbury, Denmark's Roskilde, Spain's Beniscassim, Lebanon's Byblos Festival and Syria's Citadel in Damascus. The Gorillaz will tour in support of their latest album, "Plastic Beach."
