Pennywise Building Song Catalog
There may be a new frontman, but that's not slowing down Pennywise. Guitarist Fletcher Dragge told "The Broward-Palm Beach New Times," quote, "We actually just keep writing. We write all the way until we get in the studio, cause you never know when you're gonna come up with a song. We've come up with songs the day before we walk into the studio that end up being title tracks on the record." Dragge says at this point, the band has between 40 and 50 possible new tracks, and no plans of stopping the process. He adds, quote, "We're constantly trying to better what we already have." Pennywise's next record will mark the group's recording debut with new vocalist Zoli Teglas. He's replacing longtime frontman Jim Lindberg, who left Pennywise last year and is prepping the first release from his new band, The Black Pacific. |
