Faith Hill Featured On PBS Special Honoring Paul McCartney
Faith Hill is one of the stars featured on the latest installment of the PBS series "In Performance at the White House." She was on hand for "Paul McCartney: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song In Performance at the White House," which was taped in the East Room of the White House last month. The event honored the former Beatle as the recipient of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. For the event guests offered up a musical salute to the legendary rocker, and Faith contributed a rendition of The Beatles' "The Long and Winding Road." Other participants include Emmylou Harris, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Herbie Hancock, The White Stripes' Jack White, and The Jonas Brothers, while McCartney also performed as well. "Paul McCartney: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song In Performance at the White House" will have its premiere on PBS Wednesday night. |
