Keith Urban Welcomes Music Students At Benefit Concert
Keith Urban says he's happy to help some talented kids pursue their "passion." The country star was the headliner at the annual Starry Night benefit concert supporting the GRAMMY Foundation's GRAMMY in the Schools high school music education program. At last Friday's show Urban welcomed six GRAMMY Camp participants to join him in performing his hit "Days Go By." He says he enjoyed sharing the spotlight with the students, noting, quote, "Having those kids onstage with us on Friday really serves as a reminder of what is possible when you're lucky enough to find your passion. I was so impressed by their talent and their obvious love for playing." Starry Night took place at the Los Angeles Tennis Center at the University of California, Los Angeles. A portion of the money raised also went to the Southern California Tennis Association Foundation. |
