On TV: PBS To Air McCartney Special Tonight
PBS is premiering an episode of "In Performance at the White House" that honors one of the world's surviving Beatles tonight. "Paul McCartney: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song In Performance at the White House" was taped in Washington DC last month, but will air on the public television network this evening. Tonight's broadcast will feature a musical salute to Sir Paul and his expansive catalog. Guests include Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Herbie Hancock, The White Stripes' Jack White, The Jonas Brothers, and McCartney himself.
"Paul McCartney: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song In Performance at the White House" will have its premiere on PBS tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. An encore performance is scheduled to air at 9:30 p.m. |
