"Inferno" Director Matthew Wilder Kept From Visiting Lindsay Lohan
"Inferno" director Matthew Wilder has found out the hard way that he isn't allowed to see his star in jail. RadarOnline.com reports that the man who will direct actress Lindsay Lohan in a Linda Lovelace biopic tried to visit his leading lady on Saturday. He wanted to "lift her spirits" but didn't have the opportunity. Wilder says, quote, "I went down to Lynwood and filled in all the paperwork and waited in line for about 45 minutes only to be told at the last minute that could not see her because she had used up all her visits." The director says he's heard Lohan's spirits are good but he imagines it's difficult to be locked up.
Wilder is looking ahead to shooting "Inferno" once the actress is done with her jail sentence and subsequent 90 days in rehab. He says he's hoping to begin shooting the film about porn star Lovelace in November. |
