In 1991 - Skid Row's album "Slave to the Grind" was certified Gold and Platinum. In 2000 - A NOFX fan was stabbed in the mosh pit at the Warped Tour stop in West Palm Beach, Florida. He later recovered. An Oasis fan was stabbed before one of the band's shows in Glasgow, Scotland, by a mob of concertgoers who had also gone on a rampage at a nearby school for the deaf. In 2002 - Sharon Osbourne began chemotherapy for colon cancer. Ozzy took a break from his Ozzfest tour to be by her side during her treatments. In 2003 - R.E.M. wrapped up a tour of Europe with a show in Nyon, Switzerland. In 2004 - Primal Scream singer Bobby Gillespie won damages from a libel suit he filed against a tabloid that claimed he was having an affair with model Kate Moss. The two had been working together.
