Buffalo Music Hall Of Fame Unveils Class Of 2010
Some music business veterans are among a new class of inductees into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame. BuffaloNews.com reports that the New York-based institution has announced that singer Ray Evans will enter the hall this year, along with Kathy Lynn & The Playboys. Evans is known for his recordings of "Mona Lisa," "Que Sera Sera," and the holiday classic "Silver Bells." Kathy Lynn & The Playboys' resume includes a run with Motown during its 1960s heyday. The group was the first non-African-American act signed by the Detroit label and turned out the rockabilly single "Rock City."
Evans, Kathy Lynn & The Playboys, and the other honored acts will be celebrated at a gala on October 7th at Buffalo's Tralf Music Hall.
Here is the complete list of 2010 honorees:
Jack Blanchard and Misty Morgan, Country Music Duo
