Report: Nicole Scherzinger To Guest Star On "How I Met Your Mother"
Pussycat Doll and "Dancing With The Stars" winner Nicole Scherzinger has landed a prime guest spot on TV. According to "Entertainment Weekly's" website, Scherzinger will guest star on CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" in an episode scheduled to air during sweeps in November. The singer will play a character called Jessica Glitter, the star of a Canadian TV talk show co-hosted by actor Alan Thicke. The Glitter character is also the former best friend of "How I Met Your Mother" character Robin Sparkles, played by actress Cobie Smulders on the show.
"How I Met Your Mother's" executive producer Craig Thomas says the Scherzinger episode will serve as a "satisfying third chapter in the Robin Sparkles triology." He describes it as a prequel to previous episodes featuring Sparkles.
