Paramore, Rock, White Stripes Cover Lynn
Country legend Loretta Lynn is the subject of a new tribute album. "Coal Miner's Daughter: A Tribute To Loretta Lynn" arrives November 9th. The record features Paramore, The White Stripes, Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, Steve Earle, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Lucinda Williams, Reba McEntire and many more. Lynn says, quote, "I am so happy that these singers wanted to do this record. I love 'em all, and it was so great to hear all the different ways they did my hits. I hope people like it as much as I do and we sell a bunch of records." Paramore revealed earlier in the year that they were working on a cover of "You Aint' Woman Enough." Lynn heard Hayley Williams and Josh Farro perform it at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and wrote Williams a letter asking her to cover the song for the project. |
