Kenny Chesney Grateful To Be Able To Focus On New CD
Bypassing the touring circuit this year did more than just give Kenny Chesney a break from the road. The singer says it also provided him the opportunity to really dive into his studio work, and devote all his attention to making "Hemingway's Whiskey."
Chesney admits he needed that chance to dedicate himself to a single project, instead of engaging in the typical multitasking he's done in recent years. He adds that developing his album in this manner also allowed him and co-producer Buddy Cannon to thoroughly discuss the material, and work with the studio musicians to make sure they captured the sound they were seeking. "Hemingway's Whiskey," which features Chesney's current single, "The Boys of Fall," will be in stores September 28th. |
