Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, and The Band Perry are just some of the country stars who'll be taking part in New Year's Eve TV specials Saturday night. Toby is on board for Fox's "American Country New Year's Eve Live." The show, originating from both Las Vegas and New York City, will also feature Rodney Atkins, Lauren Alaina, Joe Nichols, and the Eli Young Band. Shelton is among the performers set for "NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly." This special, airing live from New York's Times Square, will also include Cee Lo Green, Tony Bennett, "Late Night" host Jimmy Fallon, and others. Adkins is joining Big & Rich as performers on Fox News Channel's "All American New Year," also taking place in Times Square. The Band Perry is among the stars contributing to ABC's "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve," originating from New York and Los Angeles. The country trio will be featured in segments from L.A. Other performers include Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Blink-182, Florence and the Machine, and Nicki Minaj.
Fox's "American Country New Year's Eve Live" and Fox News' "All American New Year" each run 90-minutes, starting at 11:00 p.m. Eastern. The two-hour "NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly" will air in two segments. The first hour begins at 10:00 p.m., with the show resuming at 11:30 p.m. Eastern. "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" begins on ABC at 8:00 p.m. Eastern with the two-hour "40th Anniversary Party," followed immediately by the hour-long "Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012." "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012, Part 1" gets under way at 11:30 p.m. Eastern, and leads into "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012, Part 2." |
